Sponsored by the Coopersville Farm Museum. Sing or play old time favorites, or sit back and listen while local musicians perform gospel, country, bluegrass, and folk. Refreshments provided by members. $4 per person; children 12 and under are free.

Outhouse 500 Race & Chili Cook-off

Celebrate Coopersville Awards Banquet
Sponsored by the Coopersville Rotary Club and City of Coopersville as a fundraiser for NorthEast Ottawa Forum. Awards honor Citizen of Year, City Employee of the Year, Champion for Children, and Volunteer of the Year. All proceeds from Rotary Silent Auction, dinner, and live entertainment benefit NorthEast Ottawa (NEO) Forum, which provides counseling services, education, support and resources to youth in order to reduce substance abuse, violence, juvenile delinquency and more. The NEO Forum staff is a unique combination of a full time counselor and an on-site Ottawa County Sheriff Deputy who work closely with the school personnel and community members to help our youth. Coopersville & Marne Railway Train Rides
The Coopersville & Marne Railway is an all-volunteer historic railway operating vintage locomotives and circa – 1920’s rail cars in a seven mile ride from Coopersville to Marne. Passenger trains run a route from early spring to winter and feature railroad history and education. Special themed train rides include music, The Easter Bunny Train, Veteran’s Memorial Day Troop Train, The Great Train Robbery, Pumpkin Train, and Santa Train! Memorial Day Parade
Sponsored by the VFW Hall. An annual tradition honoring our armed forces and veterans who have served.
NEO Forum and City Recreation Golf Outing Fundraiser
An annual summer tradition to raise funds for the NorthEast Ottawa Forum (NEO Forum) and the City of Coopersville Recreation Department Programs. Assemble your own team or join with others to support these great community causes. The NorthEast Ottawa Forum (NEO Forum) provides counseling services, education, support and resources to youth in order to reduce substance abuse, violence, juvenile delinquency and more. Coopersville Rotary Del Shannon Days and Car Show
Thousands of folks descend on Coopersville for the biggest showing of classic cars, race cars trucks, trains, and tractors. Kids Fest kicks off the event on Thursday with carnival rides and a race car show. The Car Cruise takes place on Friday and 500 to 600 vehicles crack open their hoods for the Car Show on Saturday. Live Music, Beer Tent, Arts & Crafts, Food Vendors, Pancake Breakfast and the not-to-be-missed After Cruise Party are scheduled. Proceeds benefit NorthEast Ottawa Forum (NEO Forum), the Del Shannon Scholarship Fund, and several local non-profit groups and charities.

Annual Nighttime Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade
The annual nighttime Christmas Parade is one of the longest, continually running Christmas Parades in Michigan. The parade starts at 7 p.m. at Eastmanville & Main streets in downtown Coopersville and runs to the Coopersville Area Public Schools campus on East Street. Santa disembarks his sleigh and will greet children at the South Elementary building to listen to their wish lists and have photos taken. Parade events include free hot chocolate, a reindeer petting zoo as well as roasted chestnuts for sampling or purchase. Free community event.
